Using and citing the index

You may quote your position, reproduce a figure, and link to any page here without asking us. Two requests, both in your interest as much as ours: name the edition, because a figure without a month is not checkable, and link to it, so a reader can see the method that produced the number.

Vendor and product names appear here to identify the companies being measured. They belong to their owners. Their use is not a claim of affiliation, endorsement, or any relationship at all — and appearing in the index is not a vendor's choice, so it cannot imply one.

What the index is, and is not

Each edition reports how often a vendor was named when AI systems were asked buying questions during a stated window. That is the whole claim.

It is not an assessment of any product's quality, fitness, security or compliance, not a recommendation to purchase anything, and not advice of any kind. A vendor scoring well may be wrong for you; a vendor scoring poorly may be exactly right. The measurement is of what AI systems say, not of what is true.

AI systems change without notice. A figure is accurate for the edition and the window it names and may not reproduce if you ask the same question today. Every edition prints how stable its answers were across repeats so you can judge that for yourself.

Corrections

If you think a figure about your company is wrong, write to corrections@namedindex.com with the edition and the vendor name. We re-check it against the stored answers. If we got it wrong we say so on the edition it affects, with the figures as first published beside the figures now. We do not quietly edit a published edition.

Inclusion in the index is not something a vendor opts into or out of: an index that vendors could leave would measure willingness to be measured. Position cannot be purchased and is never altered for a client. Clients are named in the methodology of each edition published during the engagement and for twelve months after it ends; where a genuine legal or contractual restriction prevents naming one, that edition gives the number withheld instead. No warranty, and the limit of our liability

The site and everything on it is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. We work to publish accurate figures and we publish the method so you can check them, but we do not guarantee that any figure is free of error or fit for any particular purpose.

To the extent the law allows, PT Arka Wiweka Saksama is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on anything published here. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have that cannot be limited by law.

Original text, charts and code on this site are ours. Quote them with attribution; do not republish an edition wholesale as your own.

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Indonesia, where the publisher is registered. If we change them we will say so here, with the date.
