The Named Index

Which software AI systems name, measured monthly

Sample — Vendor A is fictional; every name and figure on this page is invented to show the format.

What a report looks like

One Monitor report and the extra sections a Standard month adds, for a vendor that does not exist. The sections are the real ones, some shortened; nothing else is.

No real vendor’s figures appear here, and none of these questions is one we ask: the question set is not published, so the questions below were written for this page. A client’s real report is built from the same scan that produces the public index, and every figure in it traces to a stored answer.

Where you stand

Overall: #19 of 96 tracked vendors, visibility 14.2.

  • NDIS: #7 of 96, visibility 21.8 over that sector’s questions. By service: Rostering #4 of 22; Billing #9 of 17.

How firm it is. When an AI system named you, it named you again on every repeat of the same question 41% of the time (across every vendor in this edition: 38%).

Who was named instead of you

The tracked vendors AI named on the questions you were absent from, counted once per engine answer that named them and not you, with each one’s visibility and whether it moved by more than its own run-to-run variation.

Questions you were absent from

Questions in NDIS only — the segment you sell into. You were absent from 38 of 120 questions on at least one engine that named anyone; on 11 of them, every engine that named anyone named someone else. Ranked by how many other tracked vendors were named on each question, most contested first. The real report lists every one; three are shown here.

Below this, every real report carries its Method section: the engines, the models, the scan dates, the run count and the disclosure. A Monitor report ends there. It states what is happening and to whom, and never what to do about it.

What a Standard month adds

What we delivered this month

Everything handed over for publication, against what the Standard package commits to. An article or a page rewrite counts as delivered when we hand it over, whether or not it has been published yet. The committed counts are on your Order Form rather than on this page, so the sample shows where they go, not what they are.

What we recommend next month

The one part of a Standard report a person writes, tied to something measured above: state the per-participant price on the pricing page itself, not only in the downloadable PDF, because the three most contested questions you were absent from ask about cost.
